Senior Silversmith London

We have an exciting vacancy for a Senior Silversmith with a luxury jewellery company based in London.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to create, restore, and repair bespoke trophies, awards, and objects ranging from 20cm to 60cm in height.
• Coordinate with colleagues in polishing, plating, engraving, and administration.
• Assist in quality control of finished products to ensure the highest standards are maintained.
• Actively contribute new ideas to the dynamic environment and work closely with staff throughout the company.
• Understand and comply with Health & Safety protocols in the workshop.

Skills and Experience

• Extensive experience in the silversmith trade.
• Proficiency in using workshop equipment, including lathes and milling machines.
• Excellent judgment and decision-making abilities.
• Strong capacity for understanding concepts and problem-solving.
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain precise standards, ensuring the highest levels of quality at all times.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective time management and the ability to prioritize tasks while being commercially aware.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact well with others.
• Comfort working with brass, copper, and precious metals.
• Knowledge of 3D design and printing.
