The Role:
As a Junior Jewellery Mounter, you will be responsible for assisting in the assembly of intricate jewellery pieces, working alongside master craftsmen and women. You will gain valuable hands-on experience while contributing to the production of high-end pieces, ensuring the highest standards of craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting senior mounters with the preparation and assembly of jewellery pieces
- Setting and fixing gemstones in precious metals
- Polishing and finishing jewellery to a pristine standard
- Collaborating with designers and senior mounters to execute bespoke designs
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
- Following strict quality control measures to meet the brand’s elite standards
Requirements:
- A passion for fine jewellery and craftsmanship
- Some prior experience in jewellery mounting, setting, or a similar role (apprenticeship or work experience ideal)
- A keen eye for detail and precision
- Patience, dedication, and a willingness to learn from experienced artisans
- Good manual dexterity and ability to work with small, delicate materials
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
