We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to join a luxury jewellers in the Somerset area of the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a high-end retail environment, supporting the Store Manager in delivering exceptional service, driving sales, and ensuring an unforgettable client experience.
Key Responsibilities
Client Experience & Sales Excellence
- Deliver a world-class luxury shopping experience, providing expert advice and guidance on fine jewellery and watches.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring personalised service and repeat business.
- Support the team in achieving and exceeding sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Leadership & Team Development
- Assist in training, coaching, and mentoring the sales team to uphold the highest standards of service and product knowledge.
- Lead by example, inspiring and motivating staff to excel in a high-performance, client-focused environment.
- Step in as the acting Store Manager in their absence, overseeing daily operations and ensuring business continuity.
Store Operations & Visual Merchandising
- Maintain impeccable store presentation, ensuring luxury visual merchandising standards are upheld.
- Assist in stock management, including inventory control, audits, and ensuring product availability.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, security protocols, and compliance requirements.

✔ Proven experience in luxury retail, ideally within fine jewellery or high-end watches.
✔ A natural leader with the ability to coach, inspire, and drive a high-performing sales team.
