As a Diamond Setter, you will be responsible for setting diamonds into fine jewellery pieces with precision and artistry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diamond Setting: Set diamonds and gemstones into various types of jewellery including rings, necklaces, earrings, and bracelets using various techniques such as prong, bezel, and pave setting.
- Inspect and ensure the quality and alignment of stones, making adjustments as necessary to achieve perfection in each piece.
- Maintain and care for all setting tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Diamond Setter with a strong portfolio of completed work.
- Experience with a variety of setting techniques is essential.
- Exceptional manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Ability to work with precision and maintain a high level of craftsmanship.
- In-depth knowledge of different types of gemstones, their properties, and appropriate setting techniques.
- Familiarity with the tools and equipment used in diamond setting and the ability to maintain them.
